Man... It was poppin off in Iowa!

So basically it was poppin' off in Iowa last night and Obama and Huckabee came out on top. I wanted Obama to win but I guess I'll admit that I was shocked and surprised to see that he won the D-Caucus. I guess I really did not have as much faith in him as I thought but nevertheless I am so happy he won Iowa.

I'm so interested in this Presidential Race that I even took the time to research how the Iowa Caucus works. It's quite interesting and I wish I could have been there to watch. The people of Iowa seemed so moved by his message. Reading some of the comments and looking at the pictures taken inside some of the precincts almost made me cry.

We are about to witness something historical. Obama motivates parts of the electorate that were dead. A lady who hasn't voted in 20 yrs registered to vote on her 114th birthday. I don't know if she will vote for Obama but something about this race has inspired her to register to vote. I still don't know if I'm voting for him. I just haven't made up my mind. I don't know who else I would vote for. It damn for sure won't be Hillary. I like her but she is just too calculating and power hungry. I can see it in her eyes! lol....

People say Obama is doesn't have foreign policy experience, he is young, he won't be respected by foreign leaders etc. I say shake it up! Bush was an idiot. Clinton didn't have foreign policy experience he was a governor. Bush and Clinton surrounded themselves with people who did have the knowledge they lacked. Condi Rice is a Foreign policy genius ( I don't agree with her but you can't deny someone their genius). She has been on her game for a long time. Bush surrounded himself with the people he thought were the best of the best. Obama, Clinton, Huckabee, McCain...whoever wins will do the same. Those people get paid big money to advise, inform, and damn near make the decisions for the President.

So get off of the inexperienced soap box. Stop looking at what past presidents did and decide what you want to see in your future president. The polls say people want a President committed to change. In Iowa the agent of change looks like Obama.. and for the GOP it looks like people are feeling Huckabee. Wonder what New Hampshire is going to look like. I can't wait for 1/8/08.
