Tonight I watch the Dem. Portion of the New Hampshire debates. I wish I could have seen the entire debate but I was at work and the grocery store for the Republican portion of the debate. (Darn!)
Ok, Seriously I saw a portion, well the end of the debate. I was amused to say the least. Hillary almost had a cow on stage because Edwards defended Obama and called her out. (I can't believe Edwards co-signed with Obama!) So she felt compelled to call everyone else on on their voting history, promises made on the campaign trail, etc. My first thought was " Damn Hillary, calm down... its not that bad." Then I thought well I would defend myself too. Though I don't agree with her argument that she has been an instrument of change for 35 years.. Uhm she is only 60.. wait a minute..Hillary is pushing it! No wonder she looks so worn Anyway, so you have 35 years of being an instrument of change, really what did YOU do? 8 of the years she was "changing the nation" was while Bill was in office. So technically her husband did the work. Hillary just co-signed. I mean she may have been influential but without Bill she would've just another lawyer. I'm not knocking Hillary, I actually like some of the ideas she has..just some, not all. She is powerful, convincing, strong, smart, but calculating, divisive and she gives me a bad vibe. If she won the nomination I don't even know if i would vote for her. I might have to lean towards the GOP depending on the candidate. My dad would flip if he read this..lol.. So other than that she 7 years in the Senate. Whoo hoo.. you authored some bills, served on some committees. 7 years in an elected office + 8 years in the office of 1st wifey. thats 15...where's the other 20? What did YOU do before the White House Hil? Did you really do anything as the Governor's wife? If so, what? Let me get off of Hillary before she has another cow. lol. I will revisit my issues with her another time.
Random Election 2008 Facts
Not that age really matters when considering whether someone is right for the office of the President, but I thought I would just drop knowledge on some people.
So I don't have time to do all the candidates so I'll do the top 4 from each party based on the ABC's rules.
Republicans
Rudy Guliani- 63
Mike Huckabee- 52
John McCain- 71
Mitt Romney- 60
Democrats
Hillary Clinton- 60
John Edwards- 54
Barack Obama- 46
Bill Richardson- 60
Just a thought: "Damn... these candidates are OLD!...Especially Mr. McCain... (not saying he's to old to serve but damn...71? Come on sir.. LOL Until next time...
